Sunday Night Live
Being a teenager is tough, but it's also fantastic! You'll encounter struggles and sorrows along with joy and celebration, and St. Matthew's wants to be there to walk through it too. To help teens connect with their Faith during life's ups and downs, we present Sunday Night Live: a weekly event incorporating wacky activities, relevant discussion, and supportive small-groups. We want teens to know they can be welcomed at Sunday Night Live, no matter who they are, and whether experiencing good times or hard ones. SNL is a time where we can come together to wrestle with tough questions, a time to offer each other fellowship, a time to learn about how God intersects with our daily lives, and how to follow the example set by Jesus. SNL takes place in the Youth Room of the Trailer. Middle school meets from 5:30-7:00, and High School from 7-8:30. The dress code is "please wear clothes."
Youth Mission Trips
Mission Trips are an amazing way to put our Faith into practice, which we do over the summer with our Youth Mission Trips. Our Middle Schoolers serve their local community during Mission Possible, while our High Schoolers get out and experience the need of the human family as a whole. In previous years we have traveled to Chicago, Philadelphia and Nashville, and have even spent time helping victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey rebuilding their homes and lives. Contact us for more details about this year's Mission!
If you or your youth are interested in participating in any youth events, or would like to receive our monthly newsletter with please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
