Prayer and Healing

“And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Luke 11:9)

Jesus tells us that if we take our burdens, concerns, and requests to God, He will answer.  We can do this through prayer.  Prayer is life-creating and life-changing.  Prayer can make a great difference in the lives of those who pray and in the lives of those lifted up in prayer.  Indeed, there is great power in prayer.  The apostle Paul tells us there is even more power in the prayer of many.

The Prayer and Healing Ministry of St. Matthew’s is dedicated to praying for those in need of prayer.  We invite you to send us your prayer requests. Your requests will be lifted up in prayer multiplied many times over by the members of our ministry team.  We also invite you to share your thanksgivings and your joys in recognizing answered prayer.  As always, your confidentiality will be honored.

Together, “Let us pray….”

You may send your prayer requests to PrayerAndHealing@stmatthewssterling.org or if this is an emergency please call Father Rob at (703) 430-2121. All requests will be kept confidential.
